WELCOME to the newest Shabby Girls!

A big Shabby Tea Room THANK YOU to everyone who submitted for our recent Design Team call!  We received so many gorgeous projects and applications that it was almost impossible to choose 'just two new designers', so we have some good news ... we're adding THREE new designers to the team!  The competition was stiff and the work was beautiful from all!

Before we announce the newest Shabby Girls who will officially join the team next week, I would like to take a moment to THANK the outgoing designers for their commitment of time and talent over the past six to twelve months -- sharing a bit of what they love to do with all of the wonderful followers here in the Tea Room:

From ALL of us, ladies, a big shabby THANK YOU!

For the latest Design Team call, we asked everyone to submit projects inspired by THIS photo ... and I am sure you will agree that the designer's selected captured the essence of this lovely photo beautifully:

And now, without further ado, the moment you've all been waiting for ... let's meet the newest Shabby Girls who will be joining the team beginning with next week's new challenge:

Diane Hover - Nellie's Nest
Diane submitted these two gorgeous tea-inspired projects that wow'ed us:

After taking a break from the team, Lenet is returning as a designer in the Tea Room and won us over with this shabby-licious tea-inspired project:

Sharon Gregory (Shaz) - Simply Shaz
Shaz has been a long-time participant in the Tea Room - sharing her lovely work almost from day one - and stole our hearts with this beautiful tea-inspired project:

I know you'll all agree with me when I say that we are in for a treat from these ladies in the upcoming weeks and months ... you will surely find so much inspiration in their beautiful projects each week!

Welcome to the team, ladies!  I am so excited to get crafty with you here in the Tea Room!
