Week #24 - 'A Little Bit of Metal'

Using this photo for inspiration, create a card or project with something metal on it (brad, tag, charm, library clip, paper clip, eyelet, metal cording, metallic paper/embossing powder, etc.)

Note: Because we are sponsored weekly by wonderful businesses who have graciously donated products and in the interest of fairness to all participants, any entries that do not follow our simple guidelines will not be eligible for the weekly prizes. Thanks for understanding and playing along!

•Cards/projects must be newly created following the current challenge guidelines. You may enter as many times as you wish.

•Cards/projects must DIRECT LINK back to The Shabby Tea Room.

•Please do not cross-promote (advertising) events unrelated to The Shabby Tea Room Challenge.

•Please only link your submission POST - not your entire blog or multiple challenge submissions.

Please take a moment to help me welcome our Guest Designer this week - Laurel Seabrook! Laurel's lovely Clean and Simple card design style is absolutely beautiful and we've had the pleasure of enjoying many of her designs over the weeks here in the Tea Room! Please be sure to visit her blog and leave her a bit of {love} -- and it's her anniversary this week too, so wish her a happy one!

digital stamps

Kristy, owner/designer of Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps, is thrilled to be sponsoring The Shabby Tea Room! Kristy has offered three digital images of the winner's choice from her on-line shop (a $9 value)! Some Odd Girl was launched in January 2010 and they are proudly bringing some fun and quirky images to the paper crafting market! The idea to start Some Odd Girl was inspired by two great friends! They took one of Kristy's pencil drawings, made it into a rubber stamp and that act of generosity spiraled into what you see today! Kristy is ALSO offering The Shabby Tea Room followers a 30% discount on any purchases from her shop during her week of sponsorship here in the Tea Room.

We will award a 'The Shabby Tea Room Tea Time Terrific Top Three' badge to the three most creative projects!!! One lucky participant will earn 'The Shabby Tea Room Winner' badge three digital images from Some Odd Girl!

Link your creations below by Sunday, August 29th to play along. Winner and Tea Time Terrific Top Three will be announced Monday, August 30th. We will have an all-new challenge for you to play along with on the 30th as well, so please come back and visit with us again for another chance to win!

What an interesting one this is. It'll be my second time and I have got my thinking cap on. Wish I had bought those tin snips.
