Week #30 - 'Vintage Halloween'

Week #30 in the Tea Room brings Lisa as our fabby host and she has chosen this gorgeous photo for us all to be inspired by:

... and Lisa asks us all to create a card or project inspired by the colors and images in this picture with a Vintage Halloween theme!

*Provided for your assistance, there are some guidelines on our sidebar from the gals at the Card Style Magazine outlining the components you would use in a Vintage design -- Soft, distressed elements, vintage images and found elements such as buttons, crochet trim, flowers made out of old dress patterns.*

Note: Because we are sponsored weekly by wonderful businesses who have graciously donated products and in the interest of fairness to all participants, any entries that do not follow our simple guidelines will not be eligible for the weekly prizes. Thanks for understanding and playing along!

Cards/projects must be newly created following the current challenge guidelines. You may enter as many times as you wish and you may combine challenges.

•Cards/projects must DIRECT LINK back to The Shabby Tea Room. Please only link your submission POST - not your entire blog or multiple challenge submissions.

•Please do not cross-promote events (advertising) unrelated to The Shabby Tea Room Challenge.

Please take a moment to help me welcome our Guest Designer this week, Kirsty Vittetoe!  I've enjoyed seeing so many of Kirsty's lovely, shabby and vintage creations for the Tea Room challenges!  It's such a treat to have her creating with our Shabby Girls DT this week.  Please stop by her blog and leave her a bit of shabby {love}!

Please welcome this week's Tea Room sponsor ... Sassy Studio Designs!

Sassy Studio Designs is a fresh new company. We have been designing and selling for a year now, and we have been kindly received into the community of digi stampers and crafters. I started designing images shortly after I started stamping, reason being...I didn't hardly like anything else out there I was a young adult woman at the time I was engaged, had no kids, I wanted fun sexy images that I would enjoy using and my friends and hubby would enjoy receiving. I designed images for 2 other digi stamp companies when my wonderful hubby kept trying to get me to go out on my own. So in June 2009 thanks to the few faithful followers I had, Sassy Studio Designs was born! It has been a wonderful journey starting my own store. We have just grown so much these past months.  I still try to keep with my original philosophy and reason for designing stamps, make them fun and keep them sassy...and yes sometimes even sexy!

Lindsay

Sassy Studio Designs has graciously donated four (4) digital images to our winner this week!

We will award a 'The Shabby Tea Room Tea Time Terrific Top Three' badge to the three most creative projects!!! The Shabby Tea Room Winner will earn our adorable pink tea pot winner badge and the prize package from Sassy Studio Designs!

Link your creations below by Sunday, October 10th to play along. Winner and Tea Time Terrific Top Three will be announced Monday, October 11th. We will have an all-new challenge for you to play along with on the 11th as well, so please come back and visit with us again for another chance to win!
