Meet the NEWEST Shabby Girls!!

First, before I announce the newest Shabby Girls who will be joining our little family next week, I must offer a heartfelt thank you to the designers that applied for this recent design team call.  We received nearly 40 outstanding creations for application to the DT which made the task of choosing {only two} very difficult.  I wish I could have picked them all, but unfortunately I had to narrow the field down to the two very 'best'!

I would like to showcase the TOP THREE runners up here so you can see their lovely work!  All three of these designers have been invited to join the Shabby Girls as Guest Designers in up-coming challenges very soon, and I'm happy to report that all three of these talented ladies accepted the invitation!  How lucky we'll be to be inspired by their work right here in our Shabby little Tea Room!

So, here are the Top Three Runners up ... in no particular order:

Gorgeous and inspiring work ... right??!!??  Simply beautiful!  Watch for these girlies to join the Shabby Girls in November ... can't wait!!!

So, onto the BIG announcement that you all have been waiting for!  First, let me say, that the two newest Shabby Girl designers are no strangers to the Tea Room challenges!  You have seen these ladies' beautiful work week in and week out in the past, and both girls have earned numerous Tea Time Top Three Honors as well as Winner spots in the past!!

Here is the photo inspiration the designers were asked to create with:

And, the Design Team Call challenge was to create a card or project using a pastel color palette of baby blue, soft pink and cornflower yellow with a Tea Theme.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE ... I am tickled pink to introduce you all to our new Shabby Girls:

CINDY HOLSHOUSER - Sweet P Paperie

FRAN WESTMORELAND - Purple Peanut's Crafty Blog

We were absolutely blown away by both of these designer's takes on the inspiration photo for the DT Call challenge and amazed at how they nailed both the color palette and overall theme!  Just STUNNING!  Did you see the matching flag Cindy created for her sweet tea pot just like the inspiration photo?  Did you see all those beautiful blooms that Fran included in the three gorgeous projects she created?  Amazing work!!

Cindy and Fran will be 'officially' joining the Shabby Girls next week for the Week #80 Challenge, but in the meantime, please pop on over to their blogs to say 'hi'!

Again, thank you to everyone who applied for the team!  We really do appreciate all your time and efforts!  We'll be hosting our next call in March 2012 ... stay tuned!
